The Australian and New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ANZCCJ) welcomes applications from university students 18 years or older to undertake an internship at the ANZCCJ Secretariat office in Tokyo


We encourage students with an interest in international business, trade, international relations, events management and marketing to apply for work at the Chamber. We aim to give our interns exposure to the Chamber's activities through event / project work as well as involvement in the day-to-day running of the Secretariat and activities of the Chamber and Executive Council.


Internships are unpaid and open to students of all nationalities but priority is given to Australian, New Zealand and Japanese applicants.  ANZCCJ will cover the student’s travel costs to and from the office but living arrangements and insurance are the responsibility of the intern.



POSITION DESCRIPTIONS


Full time position (Minimum six weeks)

Communications Coordinator and Operations Assistant

The Communications Coordinator and Operations Assistant is responsible for the proactive assistance of the daily operational functionality and communications of the ANZCCJ Secretariat. This includes timely provision of membership services, event planning and implementation, and close liaison with and support of the Executive Director and Operations Manager as required.

This internship position is ideally suited for University students in the fields of business, administration, international relations, public relations, international business or a related field.

The Communications Coordinator and Operations Assistant shall report directly to the Executive Director.  


Part-time position (Two-three days per week, minimum three months)

Communication Coordinator

The Communications Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will be producing content for both print and web aimed at promoting a positive public image of ANZCCJ though its various communication channels: website, newsletter, social media, brochures, and events. 

Students in the fields of business, marketing, communications, public relations, international business or a related field are the most suitable candidates for this internship position.
