The Australian Hydrogen Council is the peak representative body for the Australian hydrogen industry. We are accelerating the development of the hydrogen industry through policy advocacy, network building, and information sharing. We do this by collaborating with industry, governments, business associations, local and international partners, and research institutions. This allows us to aggregate evidence and perspectives to inform the right policy settings.
Through this work, we have become a trusted advisor and advocate for our members across the hydrogen value chain and key stakeholders in the region including Japan. Over the past 12 months, the Australian Government has announced new policies relevant to the hydrogen industry. AHC has contributed many submissions to support policy development this year, which can be viewed here: https://h2council.com.au/ahc-submissions/
AHC works closely with organisations internationally and has a range of MoUs with key industry groups including JETRO and Japan Hydrogen Group.
